A Virginia Tech Remembrance by INUXMEDIA A Virginia Tech Remembrance by INUXMEDIA
I am a Virginia Tech student. I was affected by the tragedy in ways that I hope no one else experiences. In honor of the victims and as a way to express myself, I created this remembrance image in 3D Studio Max and Photoshop.

Thank you.

Beautiful work! Today, I wear the Hokie colors and remember how I dealt with learning about the shooting one year ago. I'm not a Hokie, normally, but today, I am. I hope you and others are doing well in overcoming your losses. I'm sure you are all strong and well indeed prevail.

April 16, 2007...ALWAYS remember.

Always good to hear.

If anyone is interested, I'm going to make a print-quality version of this. I didn't realize how long it would take to render a 7200x4800 picture though haha, so it'll be a while.

I also know someone who attends VTech, so that's why it also affected me a bit. Thankfully, he wasn't even on campus at the time.

 I did a 3D image last year after the tragedy. I live in Harrisonburg VA (JMU's hometown) and while I'm not a student we were all deeply touched and shocked when this happened. I hope you are finding ways to heal and deal with being so closely affected.

What a great tribute!

Thank you.

I'm not going to lie... it's been the hardest year of my life. It's something that sticks in your mind all the time, whether you want it to or not, and whether you show it or not. And unfortunately... I expect it to affect the rest of my life.

I'm sure it will affect the rest of your life, it's not something you can just expect to forget. I hope it gets easier to deal with as time goes on though.
